Reading Readiness
Updated: May 20
Are you looking to support young learners on the journey towards reading and writing?

Preparing our young learners to be successful readers and writers is no easy task, but Neuhaus Education Center's Reading Readiness has everything you need, whether you're working with individuals, small groups, or whole classes.
“I was so excited to hear that my 4 year old's teacher had a research-based program that she was using to teach all the foundational skills he needs.” - Hong Kong mother
Are you a classroom teacher, SENCo, tutor, or parent? Are you wondering how to teach 4-6 year olds to read in a research-based, multisensory, explicit, and systematic way?
What You Will Learn
Throughout the live workshop, you will learn the background knowledge necessary to better understand the early stages of reading development. More importantly, you will walk away with everything you need (the knowledge, the program, the materials) to start working with students straight away.
The workshop includes instruction in the foundational components of sound-symbol correspondences, which are the basis of decoding.
Letter recognition
Phonological awareness
Multisensory letter introduction.
Oral language instruction is also included, as a strong language base builds the foundation for later reading and writing skills.
What You Will Receive
The 5 hour workshop will be conducted live over Zoom, led by Neuhaus Education Center's internationally certified instructors. All materials will be provided, as well as a 45 minute group follow up discussion to help you apply Reading Readiness with your own students.
